Elk Creek Campground is located 16 miles west of Gunnison on U.S. Highway 50 on the shore of Blue Mesa Reservoir and home to Blue Mesa Adventure Pods. There is a well marked turn-off off Hwy 50 and signs into the campground. Pods are located in Loop C.
 
The campground is located in Curecanti National Recreational Area. All types of camping from tents to pods to large RVs can be accommodated at Elk Creek Campground.  
 
NOTE: Blue Mesa Adventure Pods are managed by Elk Creek Marina (concessionaire for the Curecanti National Recreation Area), all other camping is managed through the National Park Service.
